Hey gang, good morning and welcome to another day of the wild wild west!
Just a quick note to share a helpful tip: generally I’ve always felt it’s best to avoid trading stocks during the first 15 minutes after the market opens.
This early window tends to be the most volatile part of the day, with large price swings driven by overnight news, pre-market activity, and emotional reactions. That volatility can lead to less predictable moves and less favorable entry points, especially for retail traders.
Waiting even 15–30 minutes allows the market to settle and gives you a clearer picture of the day’s true direction.
This is why I shared with you my 15 minute ORB lesson last night. Did you watch it? If not there is a replay below OR you can join me LIVE today in the Masters chat room where I’ll be doing another LIVE lesson on ORB and how I will be trading off of it.
Jason Bond kicks us off at 8am ET in the chat room, so be sure to join us for live interaction, trading and Q&A sessions 👏
