Good morning all,

SPY and the QQQ’s are nearing all the highs once again and I believe we are on the edge of breaking those levels. 

Here are 3 main reasons why markets are running and where I think SPY can go next.

1. Easing Middle East tensions
Markets are rallying on reports of a ceasefire between Israel and Iran—driving oil prices sharply lower while lifting investor sentiment in equities. While there are some conflicting reports about recent air strikes, for the most part it seems the job is done and both sides will move towards peace for now. This should help push oil down and markets up!

2. Fed’s tone swings slightly dovish
Fed Chair Powell’s recent testimony hinted that rate cuts may come later, but could still land by year‑end. That helped drag down Treasury yields and the U.S. dollar—both of which are typically supportive for stocks. To add to this, Fed Waller and Fed Bauman are both pushing for a possible July cut and if that happens we should see a strong move to the upside for all three indices, SPY, QQQ and the IWM.

3. Tech & AI leadership
Big-cap tech and AI-driven stocks remain the rally's engines: Nasdaq‑100 hit a record, with names like Broadcom, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Amazon leading the charge. One others to watch here is AMD. I like AMD calls for today for a run at $145 to $150 in the short term.
