The setup for Monday's holiday week alert

Last week, I didn't actually take the Weekly Wiretaps trade I had planned.

The markets were getting rolled, losses were piling up across the board, and the setup I was watching just didn't materialize the way I needed it to.

So I sat out.

That's part of the process that doesn't get talked about enough.

Sometimes the best move is to protect capital and wait for conditions to improve.

This week should be different.

Thanksgiving week often brings lighter volume but clearer direction as institutional money positions for December.

We're also coming off Nvidia's earnings, which gives us a read on tech strength.

And with the Fed's December meeting approaching, rate cut expectations are starting to sharpen, which helps frame the types of trades I'm looking for.

For 2025, Weekly Wiretaps has issued 47 trade alerts with a possible 43 winners and 4 losses.

That outcome suggests the potential for strong results when you follow a disciplined process - including knowing when to step aside.
