Just about every trader is waiting patiently for the Fed to let us know if he will cut rates next week or not and while most traders are sitting on their hands until this event, I’m out there hunting down some of the biggest stock movers, EVERY day during my “Power Hour Ambush!”

In volatile markets like the ones we are seeing now that cling to every mention of tariffs, inflation or earnings, my stock scanners are essential!

While the morning unfolds, there is one sector I am watching today and that is the Energy space. The XLE made a big jump recently and is approaching the 200 SMA once again around $87.30. If this area cracks to the upside then I’ll be watching stocks like INDO and HUSA which showed strong moves yesterday.
