With the long weekend here, summer is winding down.

The kids are heading back to school, vacations are over, and for many of us, it’s a time to refocus.

That’s especially true in the markets. And as we wrapped up this week, I sent a straightforward idea on XOM to my Weekly Wiretaps members.

The alert was simple: "Bought XOM Sept 12 $110 calls at $2.60, goal is 15 to 20% here."

The result? The trade took off, with those calls hitting a high of $5.20. That was a 100% potential gain.
