Just yesterday, the SEC dropped an absolute bomb.

For 25 years, traders have had to abide by the Pattern Day Trader rule, which required a $25,000 account balance if you wanted to make more than 3 day trades in a 5 day period.

Under the new rule, traders will just need sufficient equity to cover their actual market exposure.

This means the barrier that used to keep traders on the sidelines… is gone. (Or at least it will be when the rule goes into effect in a few weeks.)

More traders can now:

* Take short-term trades

* Act on fast-moving setups
